About
Call your doctor for medical advice about side effects. This medication may affect blood sugar levels. They will need to check the level of testosterone in your blood.
By day five or six, they might feel more fatigued, less mentally sharp, or notice their mood isn't as stable. They don't notice any particular changes in how they feel throughout the week. Weekly protocols typically mean injecting your testosterone once every seven days, delivering a larger amount in a single shot.
But as you’ve seen, how that dose is delivered, especially injection frequency, can have just as much impact on how you feel day to day. In reality, two people can take the same weekly dose and feel completely different depending on how often they inject. If your results seem unpredictable, some days you feel great, other days you don’t, it’s often a sign that your hormone levels aren’t stable. With less frequent injections, levels tend to spike higher and drop lower, which can lead to noticeable ups and downs in how you feel. By the time the next injection is due, especially with weekly or biweekly schedules, levels may be significantly lower than where they started.
Data suggest that serum concentrations of both DHT and estradiol increase in a similar manner regardless of the administration route or ester, that is, enanthate (25) (Table 2) or undecanoate (Fig. 6B and 6C) (26). Few studies have evaluated serum concentrations of 5-dihydrotestosterone (DHT) and estradiol after SC injection compared to the standard IM route. Serum testosterone profile after SC injection displayed a slower time to peak concentration (8.0 vs 3.3 days) with no significant differences in model-predicted peak concentration compared with the IM route (26). Participants were randomly assigned to IM or SC injections and followed for 12 weeks before they crossed over to the other route without any washout. B, Optimal doses needed to maintain serum total testosterone concentration within the desired range were not influenced by participant’s body mass index (bars indicate mean values). Interestingly, the optimal dose required to maintain serum total testosterone concentration within the desired range was not influenced by participant body mass index (Fig. 5B) (28). Mean serum testosterone concentrations did not change significantly after switching administration routes (Fig. 4B) (24), confirming similar bioavailability after SC administration.
This is a single medium-length fatty acid testosterone ester. This testosterone is a blend of short, medium, and longer-chain fatty acids. This tool is for educational purposes only and should not replace medical advice given from your doctor. Other types, like testosterone propionate, can be 25mg/ml or 50mg/ml depending on the product.
Thirdly, by injecting small amounts each day, your testosterone vial lasts longer. Second, by injecting a smaller amount (ie 10mg) on a daily basis, not only do you consistently reach a physiologic (not supraphysiologic) level each day. First of all, testosterone with microdosing is injected subcutaneously a few millimeters under the skin using a tiny insulin syringe.
